Bozeman Area Auto Club

The Bozeman Area Auto Club (a.k.a. Bozeman Antique Auto Club, or BAAC) welcomes all automotive enthusiasts, whether your vehicle’s an antique, classic, or modern specialty, foreign or domestic--or you have no vehicle at all. If you’re interested in an active club with something always on the go, BAAC is for you.  And we have much to offer the partners of auto enthusiasts too.

A large group of people gathered inside a spacious garage for a social event. Some people are seated at tables, eating or talking, while others are standing and mingling. The garage has an industrial look with a metal ceiling, large garage door, and various shelves and storage units along the walls.

Drop into the Kountry Korner Café in Four Corners any Tuesday 7:30 – 9:30 am and join an informal gathering of members and guests. Talk about cars, your latest mechanical issue, and anything else that comes to mind.

In addition to the Tuesday breakfast, BAAC arranges a variety of social and automobile-related activities:

  • Monthly driving tours, typically to destinations where members can enjoy a meal, conversation with fellow enthusiasts, and a chapter meeting.

  • Short programs presented by club members on varied topics of interest.

  • Touring Season Kick Off in conjunction with the Helena, and Anaconda-Butte area chapters.

  • Participation in local, and state car shows as well as, of course, the Montana Pioneer & Classic Auto Club Spring, and Fall Tours.

  • Access to members’ expertise.

  • Ladies’ outings.

BAAC is one of MPCAC’s oldest chapters tracing our roots back to the early 1950’s, when a group of local Ford Model T enthusiasts formed the Bozeman Model T Club. Founding members were primarily interested in racing their original, and souped-up, ‘T’s across Montana; annual races attracted participants from far and wide. As the years passed, other car enthusiasts joined in the club’s activities and, in 1962, our name changed to the Bozeman Antique Auto Club. Today, we go by Bozeman Area Auto Club, to better reflect the expanding and diverse interests of our members.
